Position Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to support our VP of Lending with one on one processing duties. This includes gathering initial borrower information, clearing conditions, and ensuring a seamless journey to the closing table.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between borrowers, processors, and underwriters after conditional approval is issued.
  • Review underwriting conditions and clearly communicate documentation requirements to borrowers.
  •  Collect, verify, and submit all necessary documents to help clear underwriting conditions in a timely manner.
  •  Ensure all documentation aligns with investor and underwriting guidelines.
  •  Proactively identify and resolve potential issues that may delay the loan closing process.
  • Maintain frequent and professional communication with borrowers to provide updates and set expectations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., insurance agents, title companies, employers) to obtain required documents.
  • Track condition status and follow up consistently to keep files moving forward toward clear-to-close.
  • Document all borrower interactions and condition status updates.
  • Support the loan team in maintaining high customer satisfaction and on-time closings.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of mortgage experience required (e.g., LOA, junior processor, call center rep, client coordinator, etc.).
  • Familiarity with mortgage products including FHA, VA, and Conventional loans.
  • Experience using LOS and CRM platforms.  Lodasoft or Salesforce would be a plus.
  • Understanding of mortgage documentation, pre-qualification steps, and borrower intake.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills—both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be comfortable in a high-call-volume, goal-oriented sales support environment.
